As we say goodbye to 2017, it’s important to look ahead at what’s to come in 2018, especially in our dynamic real estate market.  Out of the 100 largest metro areas in the United States, Dallas-Fort Worth is forecasted to rank second in total sales growth for 2018. This means there’s never been a better time to sell your home!

Meet Points West agent, Bella Pafford! A Texas native originally from Highland Village, Bella now resides in Aledo, Texas with her husband, three-year-old son, and three Golden Retrievers. 

Bella’s path to Points West Agency was far from traditional. After graduating from Texas Woman’s University, she completed an internship with the Denton County District Attorney’s Office in the Child Abuse Prosecution Unit. When looking into any property with homeowner’s association fees, it’s best to have a firm grasp on exactly what those fees are comprised of and where they’re coming from before signing on the dotted line. According to Investopedia, a homeowner’s association fee, or HOA, is best defined as “an organization in a subdivision, planned community or condominium that makes and enforces rules for the properties in its jurisdiction.” HOA fees, known to some as maintenance fees or assessments, are established via the Board of Directors.
